Sashti Durga Puja 2024. The sacred ashtami day in 2024 is on. The sixth day of devi paksha is known as ‘maha shashti’ which marks the formal beginning of the durga puja.

The 2024 durga puja shall be celebrated in the month of karthik of the bengali calendar, thus coinciding with the month of october in the gregorian calendar. Durga puja is also known as durgotsava.
